The 2017 event was attended by 320 undergraduate and graduate students from U of T and other universities in southern Ontario, including Waterloo, Guelph, York, Trent, Western, Wilfre Laurier, Ryerson, McMaster and Queen's. This was an increase from 130 attendees last year!

For students, attendees were able to talk with 37 exhibitors from organizations representing government, industry, consulting and ENGO's, as well as attend the Environmental Employment Opportunities Workshop: "What I Need to Know to Get a Job!", and hear from speakers with extensive career experience and expert career advice. Get expert advice, including about your resumé, from the U of T Career Centre at their table.

For organizations, the Environmental Career Day event is an excellent opportunity for you to showcase yourself, as well as advertise career, internship, co-op and/or volunteer opportunities to a wide audience. For students, Environmental Career Day will allow those interested in pursuing environmental careers to have an opportunity to start early and develop marketable skills, experience and contacts.
